Political Literature by Email

Wednesday, 31 October 2012   |   Creative Thinking

emailI receive a lot of advertising literature from politicians in my area.  Especially around election times.  I wonder how much this is necessary and what impact it has on our environment.  This weeks article is not so much about creativity but a call to be creative.  I think it would be great if there was a 'Please Email Me Instead' list that you could join and any political literature would then have to be emailed to you instead of printed and mailed.  If enough people joined it, imagine how much paper we could save.

So my call goes out to you.  What do you think of the idea?  Could you improve on it?  Can you go one step further and apply your creativity to getting this implemented in your area or country?  Big problems require creative solutions and I reckon this is one area that wastes a lof of resources and which we can very easily clean up.

If you act upon this or are a politician and decide to implement this, leave us a comment and let us know.  We'll do our best to promote your efforts and help you out.

If you just agree with this and want to show your agreement, leave us a comment with your thoughts too so others can see how popular the idea is.

Together we can be creative and save the environment.
