Where in the World is...

Friday, 02 September 2011   |   Creativity Challenges

MapYour Creativity Challenge this week is to join us on a scavenger hunt across the entire world.  That's right, the entire world.  Thanks to the wonders of Google Maps we can now be armchair explorers.  Never before in the history of mankind have we had such easy access to so much information.  So let's make use of it.  Read on to find out the details of this weeks challenge.

Here is a word we obtained from our Random Word Generator:

  • radar

Your aim is to find the best location on Earth that represents this word.  Once you've done so,  find it on Google Maps and paste a link to it as a comment here along with a brief description.  (To get a link,  click the link icon in the top right of the Maps page.)

Your location could be:

  • A street name
  • An actual radar (there are some big ones out there)
  • A geographical feature that looks like a radar
  • etc

Be creative.  There are many different ways you could achieve this.

The world is a big place so you may have to use a search engine to get some ideas on where to start looking.

Remember to check back next Friday when our next Creativity Challenge will be released.
