Create a Maze Solver

This weeks challenge is, well, a little bit challenging.  You're going to have to think, quite a bit, and there'll probably be a fair bit of trial and error.  But you'll also have some fun.  We often think of creativity in terms of creating brilliant artwork.  Creativity is also, however, very useful when it comes to solving problems.  In fact,  creativity applied to problem solving is one of the most valuable ways it can be used.  So let's dive in and get started.

Your challenge this week is to create a program that can find it's way through a maze.  To do so, you will use this tool.

Don't worry if you don't know how to program.  It's a completely visual tool.  It's all drag and drop.

This is a great example of creativity and logic mixing together to come up with a funky solution.  It's a bit challenging but dive in and have a go.  Remember to test out your solutions regularly to see how you're going.  You don't need a finished solution before trying it out.  Challenge your friends too.  See who can come up with the fastest solution or the most elegant solution etc.

Don't worry too much if you don't come up with a fully working solution.  As long as you have fun, it's all good.

(Tip:  If you're an educator, this would be a great activity to give your students.)
