What would I do?

Road of opportunityHypothetical questions are great for being creative.  Anything is possible and you don't actually have to carry out any of it so there are no resources required,  no risk etc.  Hypothetical questions can be fun and a good way to stumble across new possibilities and opportunities.

There are seven hypothetical questions below.  Each day move on to the next one and think about how you would react in that situation.

Select words from our random word generator to help you come up with ideas.

  • You find out you have 1 month left to live.  How would you make it the most worthwhile?
  • You are given the opportunity to either go back in time 10 years or forward in time 100 years.  It is a one way trip.  Would you take one of them?
  • You are offered $100 million.  To receive this however you must lose one of your senses (sight, hearing, touch, taste, smell).  Would you accept it and which sense would you give up?
  • We have discovered an alien race and you are given the chance to pick who will make first contact,  and what they will discuss.  Who would you pick and what topic?
  • If you were given the opportunity of endless youth would you accept it?
  • You have an ingenious idea for an invention that could potentially save millions of lives.  It could however be easily used to destroy millions as well.  What would you do with this idea?
  • You realise you have the potential to change the world immensely for the better but it is going to be a lot of hard work.  Do you take the challenge or do you let it go for an easy life.

If you have any other interesting questions or thought experiments we'd love to hear them too.

Remember to check back next Friday when our next Creativity Challenge will be released.
