Game: There are 2 random words below. Use both of them to come up with a fact or statistic. Your statement is to be completely made up but try and make it sound as believable as possible.
Challenge: For extra challenge reply to someone elses statement with some actual real evidence to back it up.
Strategy: Did you know that 92.7% of all quoted statistics are made up on the spot (and yes that statistic was made up as well )? A lot of people are lazy and rather than look it up they will just make up something that sounds reasonable or suits their cause. As creative thinkers we should always be on the lookout and always questioning. Whenever you see a statistic quoted you should form your own opinion about whether you believe it or not. This creativity game is a bit of fun in making up statements that sound feasible (or not) and also in how you can easily bolster either side of an argument regardless of which one is correct.
As an added exercise it would be good practice to consider others statements and think about how you may go about disproving it.
